The wrap dress will be your new go-to summer look. I purchased this pink candy cane wrap dress from Forever 21 for about $20. I’ve kind of steered clear of maxi dresses for a little while because I just didn’t like the fit of them anymore, but for some reason the wrap style made all the difference.
Thankfully, I have this nude jumpsuit that I threw on under. It was the perfect pairing in my opinion because it was so hot outside I didn’t want too many layers. I paired it with a camel-colored scarf to add a little pop of color and cream sandals also from Forever 21.
I couldn’t find the link to the exact dress that I purchased, but I tried to find similar styles including various colors, prints and textures to appeal to everyone. Some of the below dresses aren’t your typical “modest” wear, but with some creativity you can definitely make it work. You can even just save them for a party, especially the red one from Boohoo AND you really can’t beat that price.
Since Eid is right around the corner (for my Muslim readers), a wrap dress would be the perfect outfit. Dresses are probably the easiest to wear because it’s one piece and you all need to do is accessorize. Keep your eyes open for wrap dresses while you shop. That’s exactly how I found the dress I’m wearing above. It was purely by chance and it was the only one on the rack. Which if you’re familiar with Forever 21, that’s usually how shopping there goes.
