I seriously love San Francisco. Everything about it is just so…perfect. My husband and I go almost every other week. It would be a dream come true to move there to be completely honest.
This time around we went to visit my husband’s grandma, so we booked a hotel and stayed the night. Although we didn’t get the chance to see her unfortunately, we still made the best of our mini vacay. Here are the two looks I brought along with me.
There’s one thing I need to point out about the first look. The day before I was out and saw this girl wearing the cutest outfit. She had layered a black maxi dress over a plaid collared-blouse and I immediately took inspiration from her and threw my own version of that look together but added a little hijab flair to it. (How great is this emerald green scarf?)
The one thing I would have changed is probably the dress. I think if it had a waistband it could have accentuated my waist and it would have looked so much better. Nonetheless, it was a comfortable yet chic look and a nice substitute for just a basic long sleeve shirt underneath.
This look I decided to wear these black overalls once again, but wanted to show them off a bit more so didn’t layer anything on top. I paired it with a silk champagne blouse from H&M to dress it up a little more and the rose pink scarf to allow the champagne color to pop.
For some reason this time around I was only able to get one good photo of each, but I guess it worked out! One thing you could conclude from this post is that inspiration is literally everywhere. Keep your eyes open and get ready to put your spin on any look you see.
