One Article of Clothing

So you know that article of clothing that you purchased and were so excited to wear it, but only to realize it’s not what you were hoping for? No? Well…let me explain.

I bought this white maxi cardigan from Forever 21. I was drawn to it because it seemed so light, airy, and just easy. Here’s what was wrong with it after the first 2 outings. I realized it was see through and the sleeves were just too long. And every time I tried to cuff the sleeves, they wouldn’t stay in place. Annoying, right?

I left it in my closet for a while thinking maybe I’ll sell it, but every time I stare into my closet it’s just there and I can’t help but pull it out and think: How can I make this work?

I’m pleased to say, I think I’ve figured it out! I decided to wear a white long sleeve top under this black long tank dress. It not only got rid of the sheerness, but some how when I cuffed the sleeves it was able to stay in place because of the shirt I was wearing underneath. Let’s just say…I’m glad I bought it after all.

Here’s my tip: Don’t give up! You will eventually find a way to make it work.
